TechInAfrica – Africa Delivery Technologies is a French startup specializing in providing delivery services in Nigeria. The startup has recently launched a new app called the Kwik app as part of its strategy to improve its last-mile delivery services in the country. It connects independent delivery partners with customers, providing reliable, affordable, and flexible delivery solutions.

As explained by the startup’s Founder and CEO, Romain Poirot-Lelliig, the new app aims to be the first platform for last-mile delivery in Nigeria’s urban areas before expanding its solution to neighboring countries. Poirot-Lellig then added that the company is targeting to fulfill 100,000 deliveries per day in three cities before 2021.

Moreover, the app also has an integrated geolocation system and offers transportation services for small packages weighed no more than 25kg as well as documents. The system follows the same model as in Uber, Go-Jek, or Taxify.

In order to compete with its competitors, Kwik offers a service of higher-added value within two hours, integrated geolocation, as well as proof of delivery system with the highest security found on the market.

The service is available both on the Kwik app as well as on a web browser. Customers can make payment using credit card paid in advance through the Paga system or in cash.

Currently, it mainly focuses on B2B clients, enabling them to set up recurring deliveries, manage users, create tour deliveries on the fly, and so on.
