The CEO and Founder of Clik app, Kevin Ssemwogerere, explained how he ended up with the idea behind the app. “I met up with some friends in Hollywood who showed me how they party. His observation on how partygoers host and party inspired him to create an app that makes partygoers’ life easier using just one platform.
“It all started as drawings and sketches that Kevin made during his trip in the States. When we got together we delved deeper into the technical aspects of building the app. After that, I put down some code and the rest was history,” said Kabelo Twala, CTO and Co-Founder of Clik, explaining how he and Kevin first teamed to launch Clik app back in 2018.
The app is designed easy to use for friend seekers, event seekers, and event hosts. The swipe right and left feature allow users to decide whether or not it fits their needs.
“There has been fantastic reception from event goers about the app. All over the world, having fun for the regular partygoers has become costly and exclusive because of high prices for entrance, drinks, and unpredictable guest lists,” said the co-founders of the app.
