Most of the global followers will agree with us that Elon Musk has been a common name for many is the recent years. The 47 years old tech entrepreneur is the brain behind the launch and running of Neuralink, The Boring Co, SpaceX and Tesla Inc. These four are enough to give you a quick overview of who Musk is without necessarily going through his CV. Up to that point, I know many questions have started going through your mind. Do not worry we have got all the answers to those questions. We have assembled all the information about Musk that you need to know.

Musk was born and raised in Pretoria South Africa. As a norm for most tech billionaires at the age of 12 Musk started to teach himself about computer programming. He later on relocated to Canada at the age of 17 years to study at Queen’s University. He, later on, moved to the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) where he got a degree in economics from the Wharton School. He also graduated with a degree in physics from the College of Arts and Sciences at UPenn. Just like the wish of all tech entrepreneurs Musk joined Stanford and started a Ph.D. in applied physics and material sciences. He only withstood the challenges that came with the cause for two days before putting it off to study entrepreneurship.

The entrepreneur who is estimated to be worth $19.7 billion co-founded Zip2, a software firm. He, later on, moved to Compaq in 1999 at the cost of $340 million. He went ahead and launched X.com, an online payment company that later on rebranded to PayPal after it merged with Confinity in 2000. In 2002 eBay bought PayPal at a value of $1.5 billion. All this took place when he was 31 years old. In May 2002 he launched Space Exploration Technologies Corp. commonly known as SpaceX. SpaceX is a transport services and aerospace manufacturing company. Musk serves as both the CEO and lead designer at the company. SpaceX is located in Hawthorne California with a total of 7,000 employees. Majoring in design, manufacture, and launch advanced spacecraft and rockets, SpaceX’s most recent activity was to send a tiny submarine to help save the Thai football team from the watery caves. The evacuation of the team has been carried out successfully.

The company is also working on Falcon 9 Block 5 a heavy-duty rocket that is being prepared to carry communication orbit for Bangladesh. Moreover, the company is working on Falcon Heavy the most powerful operational rocket in the world. Musk’s main target is to conquer the Mars to minimize the likelihood of human extinction. He has insisted on the importance of backing up humanity to have longevity. In one year after launching SpaceX, Musk co-founded Tesla an EV and solar panel manufacturer. He is the product architect and the CEO of the company. The company which is based in Palo Alto shifts the variety of products from solar panels, solar roof tiles, EVs the Tesla Model S, Model 3 and Model X and batteries Powerpack and Powewall among other products. As of June 2017, the company with a total of 37,500 employees had produced more than 100,000 vehicles. By then it generated revenue worth $11.8 billion.

In 2016 Musk founded Boring Co., an infrastructure and tunnel construction company. He founded the company after his frustration with the heavy traffic in Los Angeles. From its website it is written; “To solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic, roads must go 3D, which means either flying cars or tunnels. Unlike flying cars, tunnels are weatherproof, out of sight, and won’t fall on your head.” Musk has many other business enterprises. They include OpenAI, a nonprofit company that aims to promote research into artificial intelligence that is friendly, SolarCity a subsidiary of Tesla and a solar energy services firm. In 2016 Musk co-founded Neralink that develops brain-computer interfaces using neurotechnology. They are also working on the Hyperloop. This is a transportation system of high speed that oversees traveling from New York to Washington DC taking only 30 minutes. Musk is also planning to develop a vertical take-off and landing supersonic jet electric aircraft named the Musk electric jet.

Musk has a goal of reducing global warming using sustainable energy consumption and um. He is also aiming at putting up a human colony on Mars to minimize the risk of human extinction. A handful of individuals can only attain all the achievement made by Musk. As things look, he is not going to relent on his quench of being successful.
