Have you ever imagined a situation where students are taught what they have never seen and we expect them to be experts? That is the situation that entrepreneur Rebecca Enonchong from Cameroon witnessed in Ghana. Rebecca narrated how she saw teacher Owura Kwadwo drawing Microsoft Word interface on the chalkboard to make students understand. Rebecca went ahead and tagged Microsoft on her twitter handle to help the teacher.

Driven by his passion for students, Kwadwo said on his Facebook page that he uses every means to make students understand ICT. However, he acknowledged that there are various challenges that he experiences especially inadequate supply of educational materials.

After the picture of Owura Kwadwo going viral on Facebook and Twitter, Microsoft declared that they will supply Owura with necessary teaching materials. Rebecca who posted the picture is now soliciting for funds to build a computer laboratory for the students. Owura Kwadwo also said that he sent a message to Microsoft Africa seeking for support.

The recent picture has tainted the name of Ghana education system as they face sharp criticism from various parts of the globe. Many African states have faced such challenges but practical solutions have been sough always.
