Startup Health Gets Funding That Will Help It in Health Transformation

StartUp Health is a global entrepreneurship development company for Healthcare Transformers. The company has been in a position to raise $19.3 million courtesy of Ping An Global Voyager Fund, Masimo Corporation, a consortium of partners through StartUp Health Transformer Fund II and GuideWell. The startup launched in 2011 is on a mission of putting the network effect on the same level through the organizing of entrepreneurs.

The company also plans to collaborate with the leading global organizations that have interests in supporting the Health Transformers with opportunities to scale, capital and expertise. StartUp Health has garnered the world largest network of more than 200 digital health companies from 19 countries and five continents. The company has at the same time developed a global network of more than 30,000 partners, customers and investors.

The StartUp Health Transformer Fund II will support and invest in above 200 companies aimed at achieving Health Moonshots in a period of the next two years this is coming after the completion of StartUp Health inaugural fund that included 100 digital health companies.  Fund II currently has 100 companies in its portfolio from 13 countries that include Kenya, Canada, Finland, England, Germany, Israel, US, Nigeria, Spain, Mexico, Netherlands, Brazil and Australia.

According to Unity Stoakes, President and Co-founder of StartUp Health, in the competitive world of transforming the health sector, it calls for startups to work with open minded and either groups or individuals of goodwill. The good partnership is what will give one the zeal and the strength to go on with their intended missions. The startup is happy to have reliable partners like Masimo Corporation, Ping An and GuideWell who are well versed with StartUp Health’s vision of transforming the health sector.

The startup hopes that people will be able to enjoy the fruits of its hard work shortly than expected.
