The aim of the AgroBootCamp is to empower the youth with farming skills in agroecology. The project elevates the youth as the drivers of food security in the DRC – a country with enormous agricultural potential.
According to the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the DRC has the second-highest rank of countries faced with the food crises. May attribute this to the political instability that has prevented 10 million of its 80 hectares of arable land cultivated.
From October, the #AgroBoot camp will resume its training camps in Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The initiative is a practical training camp in agro-ecology and green entrepreneurship aimed at the young in Africa. If you a project on green ecology, then the #AgroBootCamp is meant for you.
The last edition of the programme took part in Benin last February in a one-week event that educated professionals on how to farm profitably.
