Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources just launched a mobile phone application that helps map the locations of natural gas stations for easy identification. Tarek El Molla, the Minister of Petroleum made the announcement during a Monday meeting.
The meeting was held by El Molla as a follow-up to the expansion of natural gas stations. He highlighted the state’s efforts to expand the natural gas network across the country. He further pointed out the urgency of adhering to the timelines set for building natural gas supply stations on vital roads so as to serve a large number of citizens.
Attending the meeting was the Chairman of EGAS Magdy Galal, and his assistants the CEO of EGPC Abed Ezz El Regal, and Mahmoud Nagy, the deputy for transportation and distribution of petroleum products. Other participants were from Cargas, Egyptgas, Petrojet, Town gas, Misr Petroleum, Copetrole, and the Nile company.
