Google Launched African SMEs Support Programs

TechInAfrica – Google has launched a series of programs to support the development of SMEs in Africa.

Three programs launched this month, which consist of:

New Google for Small Businesses portal

SMB skills webinars available on 9, 16, and 23 June here

Shop Small Fridays, social media video series on SMEs across Africa

 “As more consumers start their journey looking for products and services online, we want to do more to help retail small businesses digitize and better leverage online tools for growth,” Mojolaoluwa Aderemi-Makinde, Google’s head of brand and reputation for Africa said.

“ One thing we know for sure is that when small businesses recover, African economies rebound and do well and this benefits everyone.”
