Africa focussed VC firm Ingressive launches a profit arm targeting the youth throughout the continent with technical training, micro-scholarships, and talent placement opportunities.
Ingressive Capital invests in seed and pre-seed tech companies throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The company mainly targets B2B businesses and recently announced a doubling of its investment vehicle – a $10 million fund.
The company runs an advisory offshoot that formed the non-profit Ingressive For Good (I4G)That addresses the inequalities existing in the African tech ecosystem. Ingressive capital increases earnings among the youth through technical training and providing resources.

Disrupt Africa shared some statements made by Sean Burrowes, who is the COO and co-founder Ingressive 4 Good. Sean highlighted “three core goals” of Ingressive For Good is the creation of “5,000 jobs through partnerships” and connecting “one million” African youth to technical skills training and “award scholarships” to individuals studying computer science courses. This program is in line with Ingressive Capital’s desire to empower African youths through tech.
