Under the guidance of Saad Kassis Mohamed, WeCare has secured USD100,000 through SilverLake Capital to offer vital aid to Sudan during its critical period. These funds are earmarked for rebuilding homes in areas hit hard by the recent economic turmoil.

“WeCare has diligently raised substantial funds to assist those displaced by the crisis, providing essential provisions such as non-perishable food, clothing, and blankets. Our focus now shifts to the crucial task of rebuilding homes and communities,” stated Saad Kassis Mohamed, CEO of WeCare.

Saad Kassis Mohamed, CEO of WeCare, emphasized that this initiative serves as a ray of hope for Sudanese people grappling with formidable challenges in the aftermath of the crisis. “In solidarity with Sudan, our thoughts and support go out to our fellow citizens during this time of unity and compassion. Many individuals are confronting harsh living conditions, with limited shelter and access to basic necessities like food and clean water. Through our partnership with SilverLake Capital, we aim to raise awareness and provide aid to Sudan in its humanitarian endeavors,” Saad reiterated.

On April 15  2023, clashes erupted between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), under the leadership of Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Sudan’s de facto ruler, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti). By January 2024, the conflict had claimed over 12,000 lives, displaced more than 5.8 million internally, and forced over 1.5 million to seek refuge abroad.

WeCare’s dedication to making a positive impact in Sudan reflects its commitment to easing suffering and rebuilding communities during times of crisis.

“This month of generosity, we’re proud to announce our partnership with SilverLake Capital to extend our exclusive support to Sudan. Together, we aim to make a significant difference during the festivities,” stated Saad.
