The conference will allow various startups to showcase their innovative solutions in line with financial technology. Therefore, an organized competition during the conference will promote innovative ideas which would move Egypt’s FinTech space to the next level. The winners of the competition will receive a free invitation to Dubai’s “Seamless” conference. Moreover, the winners will also pocket EGP 250,000.

The main organizers of the conference include Arab Federation of e-commerce, the League of Arab States, CBE and the Council of Arab Economic Unit.

Egypt’s president, Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Tarek Amer, the CBE governor confirmed that they will attend the conference. Besides, other top state officials, ministers, bank leaders and 500 international and local startup representatives will crown the occasion.

According to Tarek Amer, the conference will help in identification of opportunities available in Egypt’s FinTech space. Besides, the representatives in the conference will identify where they can apply FinTech in their respective organizations.
