Knowlix AI Launches an AI Teammate to Simplify SME Operations Across Africa

Knowlix AI has introduced an AI powered business platform designed to support small businesses across 29 African countries and several other markets worldwide.

The Munich based startup said its platform enables businesses to manage customer relationships, invoicing, inventory, projects, and other back office operations from a single system. At launch, the platform will be available across several African markets, including Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, and Egypt.

Knowlix AI said the platform is equipped with country specific tax settings, currencies, accounting standards, and legal requirements across its supported markets. Although the company has not yet secured customers in Africa, it said businesses across the continent can begin using the platform from launch. Following a free trial, paid subscriptions start at $24.90 per month.

Established in 2021 by Peter Meie and Francesco Wiedemann, Knowlix AI was developed on an open source software foundation. The company said this framework allows the platform to adapt easily to varying business regulations and market requirements across different countries.

The platform features an AI Teammate capable of generating quotes and invoices, turning meeting notes into actionable tasks, managing inventory reorder requests, and automating everyday business operations. While these processes are streamlined, business owners retain full control by approving key actions before execution. Knowlix AI enters a competitive market alongside business software providers such as Odoo, Zoho, HubSpot, and Microsoft, as well as African SME software startups including Moniebook, Orda Africa, and Trembi.
