DP World has announced the opening its e-commerce platform DUBUY.com in Tunisia to assist Tunisian businesses broaden their customer base outside the country’s limits.

DP World announced today that its e-commerce website DUBUY.com has opened in Tunisia. This will make it much simpler for local businesses to access new markets and conduct transactions in other countries.

The most recent growth of DUBUY.com will provide Tunisian wholesalers with access to a sizable and well-established worldwide network of partners from other countries. According to a press release, it will also be able to offer a supply chain that is safer, more practical, and more reliable thanks to the worldwide ports and logistics network that DP World maintains.

It is stated that owing to DUBUY.com’s network of importers, exporters, and trade professionals, Tunisian businesses would be able to expand, gain access to new product sources, and discover new business opportunities.

The fact that DP World is now in Tunisia, which has a $5.2 billion consumer market, shows how committed it is to creating digital commerce corridors in Africa. These corridors will give developing economies access to essential markets and help regional businesses grow.

DUBUY.com is already available in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia. It is a network of more than 4,000 online stores that sell goods.

Mahmood Al Bastaki, Chief Operating Officer of DP World’s Digital Trade Solutions, says, “the African e-commerce business continues to rise as more local firms engage with distributors and suppliers through digital technology channels.”

DUBUY.com is in a particularly favorable position to boost trade in this region because it broadens trading options not only inside Africa but also with the rest of the world.

Our most recent expansion into North Africa has opened up the vast new business potential for companies located throughout the entire region, the Middle East, and the rest of the world. We believe that having access to this internet platform will increase the wealth of the surrounding area and assist in the expansion of Tunisia’s economy.

DUBUY.com addresses some of the most significant challenges preventing the expansion of e-commerce in Africa, which has the potential to become the largest free trade region in the world. These challenges include providing safe and convenient financial transactions, scalable pricing for high-value purchases, and trustworthy fulfillment.
