African Digital Startups Enters DEMO AFRICA

TechInAfrica – DEMO Africa is a platform that offers opportunities to meet with potential investors and technology buyers to the entrepreneurs. African states with South Africa as the African technology hub were invited to attend the continents premier launch pad for emerging technologies before 31st August 2017.

DEMO Africa is meant at offering a platform to entrepreneur’s to have time with potential technology investors and buyers. The host for the program will be The Gauteng Province and will be hosted from 23rd – 24th November 2017 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conventional Hotel in South Africa. This will be the second time South Africa is hosting the event. There will be thirty startups that will be provided with mentorship and tools worth R 3.3 million.

It was acknowledged that DEMO Africa is working harder in ensuring that the leading technology firms are brought to Africa. This helps in Africa getting the relevant information on technology and exposing it to the modern world.

DEMO Africa has been in a position to raise around  180 startup firms within five years which has helped in increasing above R700 million in investment and business relations. The company has managed to move around 14 cities in Africa within 2017. Working product, a solution to a difficult problem, a team to work out the solutions, potential scale and being ready for an investor are the requirement for any country that thinks of launching DEMO Africa.
