Binance, the world’s top cryptocurrency exchange will equip 1000 African blockchain developers with tools and skills to build their first DApps on its Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network. This will happen in Q1 of 2021.

The programme will start with a two-hour Binance Masterclass – Developers’ Edition on ‘Careers in Blockchain Technology’, where Changpeng Zhao Binance CEO will introduce the program. Binance Smart Chain and Binance Africa teams will carry out weekly programs in 8 weeks under the ‘Rebuilding Financial Systems on Blockchain’ theme.

The event is coordinated by thought leaders in the crypto industry from Xend, ChainIDE, Bundle, and the other BSC team.

Last year Binance successfully educated 70,000 Africans on crypto fundamentals and other practical tutorials that involve setting up an account – buying and selling, crypto trading, and technical analysis.

In December 2020,  Binance Africa’s team organized over 400 plus free events 2020 which received attendees from over 40 African countries. Participation was both offline and online. Binance continues to expand its crypto education efforts throughout the continent in 2021 beginning with the Binance Masterclass – Developers‘ Edition: ‘Careers in Blockchain Technology’.

In a keynote speech, Binance CEO pointed out two key sessions: Careers in Blockchain Technology led by Chuta Chimezie, and  BSC and Becoming a Blockchain Developer led by  Binance Smart Chain’s team lead.

The Masterclass will be hosted on January 31 aimed at increasing product awareness. Attendees to the program get high-income development skills, learn Blockchain for free, and receive a certificate of participation from Binance Smart Chain.

As part of the goodies package, the program will hand out $1000 worth of crypto.
