DStv Presents New Concept Store in South Africa

TechInAfrica – Digital Satellite Television, or usually known as DStv is a direct broadcast satellite service from Sub-Saharan Africa owned by MultiChoice. This television service was officially launched by Owen Martin in 2014. It provides a variety of channels and services for more than 18,9 million subscribers. 

A Customer Experience Center has been launched by DStv. This service is the the first-of-its-kind concept store for the video entertainment platform.

The centre that takes 669 square meters is located in the Mall of the North. It is placed on the second floor and is hoped to present the best “digital and physical shopping experience” for every customer. 

Various services including decoders purchased, devices test, services activation, subscription payment, and self-service functionalities access can be approached by customers easily. The store is set with themed spaces including a sales stall, solution bar, content lounge, entertainment pods to provide the full experience of DStv’s current products and services for customers.

Simon Camerer, Chief Customer Officer Multichoice South Africa said that DStv wants to get closer with its customers by providing the Customer Experience Centre in Polokwane. For DStv, it is important to continually improve the customer experience and its customer service support. This space enables DStv to show its products and best innovative service right to DStv customers while searching for new customers.
