EcoCash Introduces Online Self Service Portals for its Ever-growing Merchants and Agents

The virtual portal will enable customers to process their applications online and allow EcoCash to do the same

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many businesses to re-strategize to adopt best health practices to avoid the spread of the novel virus. EcoCash has shown it places its customers and agents’ health first. And thus, have designed a virtual means were agents, billers, merchants, bulk payers, and payroll channel partners can continue enjoying their services without a physical visit to any of Econet’s shops.

 The virtual self-service portal is open to all

According to EcoCash, new and existing customers can use the virtual self-service. Prospective customers can register, track, and even submit applications online. SMS notification will be sent to newly registered customers to give them a clue about their application’s progress.

All EcoCash partners are advised to log in here to process their application. Once logged in, partners can then proceed to provide the required details and documents required to complete their Know Your Customer (KYC) registration. The application will be processed online once the details are provided.

Speaking after the announcement of the newly introduced portal, Natalia Jabangwe, CEO of EcoCash, said the process would help to speed things up and make life convenient for partners.

The CEO said the newly introduced portal would give customers a chance to conduct all their transactions from their homes, offices, or even on the go. Approval will also be handled virtually. So, the process is convenient for EcoCash and customers.
