TechInAfrica – Prepaid solution Global Technology Partners (GTP) and fintech company MFS Africa are teaming up to launch virtual and physical prepaid cards for over 100 mobile wallet users in the country.

The MFS Founder and CEO, Dare Okoudjou developed the notion that technology, like financial services, should feel relatable to the Africans– that’s the way to make them feel connected.

“This relationship is adding another layer to this as it affords wallet holders the ability to purchase domestically and internationally from millions of merchants,” he added.

Rich Bialek, the CEO of GTP, called the relationship a ‘strategic alliance’ and the path to bring financial inclusion to every eligible African.

The payment solutions will rely on Visa and Mastercard networks.
