The Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF) Jordan’s largest investment fund just announced a direct $1.5 million investment into Dubai-based Global Ventures which is focused on growth-stage technology investments across the MENA region. This investment was completed in December and underscores the commitment of ISSF towards empowering promising Jordanian startups in advancing the local entrepreneurial landscape and the overall economy at large.

Last year Global Ventures led a $4.5 million funding round for Cartona a B2B marketplace. Basil Moftah, General Partner at Global Ventures expressed a thrill to welcome ISSF as a partner into the Global Ventures’ Fund II further saying, “GlobalVentures aligns with the ISSF mission of transforming the local and regional entrepreneurial ecosystems into global hubs for technology and innovation.”
