Launching of the Konnect Portal for Ghanaian Enterprises by Kirusa

TechInAfrica – A global leader in communication solutions over data network for consumers and enterprises, Kirusa, launched the Konnect Portal in Ghana on 15th November 2017.This was to enable enterprises drive customized flash call marketing campaigns.

The flash call creates more platform for customers to reach out to brands, easily. This is because it can be used to encourage customers to “flash-a-call” to express their interest, pledge to a cause, enter a contest and vote or give a feedbacks. The flash calls campaigns is valuable to enterprises and thus making it a viable and inventive lead generation pull marketing tool.

The enterprises can create, test, launch and even manage flash campaigns with the Konnect Portal at their own pace and terms within a short duration without external interference. To do this, enterprise can buy distinct mobile numbers, either long or short for specific campaigns. The number can be advertised on marketing collaterals targeted at prospective and existing customs.

Surinder Anand Kirusas Vice President product said that Africa is witnessing a higher usage of mobile devices compared to any other electronic device ; thus the need to create a viable platform for enterprises to engage with their consumers through mobile. Enterprises can own, customize and monitor their marketing campaigns, and generate leads all within the same portal. This he spoke during the launch of the portal.

Ebenezer Amankwah the Corporate Relations Manager, Vodafone Ghana said that their efforts during the Ebola campaigns highlighted mobile technology and innovation in action through effective partnership. Kirusa Konnect proved  that they able and efficient partners and this was because they were able to get their key messages across to Ghanaians. He said that this was one of the many reasons why Ghana recorded no cases of the Ebola disease.

The CEO TKC Africa,  Hannah Acquah, said that TKC Africa would also like to acknowledge Kirusa for the continuous partnership and appreciate the support in making their project, 3FM Business Pitch competition a success. In addition to that she also said that they were impressed by the quality of the services that are provided by the Kirusa team and that she was looking forward to continuous co-operation as they officially launch the 3FM Business Pitch season that took place in April.
