Share

OneConnect is PowerSchool’s first channel partner in Africa. PowerSchool is a major provider of cloud-based software for K–12 education in North America.

OneConnect, an innovative company that offers turnkey technology services and solutions in South Africa and all over Africa, will help PowerSchool get more customers in South Africa and the rest of the region. The partnership will help the company serve more than 500,000 students across the continent over the next year.

PowerSchool’s regional channel partners are used by the PowerPartner Program to help with localized marketing, sales, and customer deployment. Through the OneConnect partnership, teachers in South Africa and across the continent can access mission-critical tools, such as products from PowerSchool Unified Classroom, PowerSchool Unified Talent, PowerSchool Unified Insights, and PowerSchool Unified Operations. These tools will help even more teachers, students, and families realize the promise of personalized education.

The CEO of PowerSchool, Hardeep Gulati, said, “We are happy to announce our partnership with OneConnect. We’ve seen how innovative OneConnect’s technology services and solutions are, so we know they’re the right partner to help us reach more than 240 million students in Sub-Saharan Africa and other places.

After announcing plans to open its first Middle East and Africa (MEA) office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the spring of 2023, the company is now announcing a partnership with OneConnect. PowerSchool channel partners in India, the Philippines, and Uruguay serve customers. This year, the program is set to grow quickly.

Rogers Sithole, the Managing Director of OneConnect Education, said, “Education technology, like the solutions offered by PowerSchool, is the key to democratizing education by improving digital access, professional development, and personalized learning across the continent.”

PowerSchool helps more than 50 million students around the world. It has over 15,000 customers, including over 90 of the top 100 school districts in the U.S., and sells its products in over 90 countries.
