TechInAfrica – Seedstars in partnership with GrowthLab sets to launch Seedspace GrowthLab on November 8th, 2019. The new hub will be located on the second floor of the Business Center in Circle Mall, expecting to be an exclusive growth hub for entrepreneurs and executives across Africa in accessing a global network.

Seedspace GrowthLab is one of the largest networks of campuses aims at entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Moreover, it’s also one of the Seedstars’ 16 hubs across 10 cities around the globe, including Casablanca, Cairo, Cape Town, Geneva, Yangon, Mexico City, Abidjan, Lima, Nur-Sultan, amongst others.

The launch of the new hub will be the same day as the seventh edition of Seedstars World Lagos. In fact, Seedspace GrowthLab will be hosting the event which will start at 4 pm. The event is the platform for investors to network, get key insights, knowledge, and access to deal flow during the pitches.

To get selected for training sessions and pitching contest at the Seedstars Lagos event, startups must have raised no more than US$500,000 in funding and have a minimum viable product. In addition to the criteria, there is another additional criterion: startups must have the potential for regional and global scalability.

The winning company will represent Nigeria at the Seedstars Summit Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa from December 5 – 7, 2019 with the opportunity to save a slot at Seedstars Global Summit and win a prize up to US$500,000 in equity investments.
