TechInAfrica – Well-known Chinese video-sharing stage TikTok keeps on developing at a high rate worldwide dependent on the number of new application downloads. According to learnbonds.com, during the first quarter of 2020, the application listed an untouched high number of downloads at 200 million, development of 28.20% from the final quarter of 2019 when the application downloads were 156 million.

In March, the downloads peaked when the application added about 75.5 million new downloads. This number speaks to the development of 24.79% from the 60.5 million downloads in February 2020. Curiously, the February downloads expressed a drop of about 5.5% from January’s 64 million downloads.

An overview of TikTok’s downloads since the first quarter of 2019 shows consistent development. During the final quarter of a year ago, December recorded the great number of downloads of 2019 at 57.5 million. For a year ago, the most minimal downloads were recorded in February when the figure was 36 million. In 2019, TikTok had over a large portion of a billion application downloads at 523.5 million.

The downloads are recorded across the platform’s main app and lite app. TikTok is available on both iOS and Android platforms. Notably, the vast majority of the downloads are on the android platform that has four unique versions of the application accessible in different nations universally.

The growth of TikTok’s downloads comes during the worldwide pandemic, Coronavirus, which has seen buyers focus around their cell phones like never before as they search for better approaches to shop, work, and interface.
