TechInAfrica – African states have low internet usage as compared to the western world. Currently, it is estimated that only 13.5% of the African population has access to the internet. However, African Property Group is utilizing the population that can access the internet. A greater percentage of this group can access websites using their smartphones or computers. African Property Group has launched eight websites in Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Lesotho, Seychelles, Swaziland, and Botswana. These countries have potential customer base totalling to approximately 65 million. Therefore, a better opportunity is available in these states.

Through expansion into other countries, the startup will tap the future market. Besides, with internet penetration in various countries, people will search for various items online. Consequently, homeowners and real estate agents can buy, sell or rent properties quickly.

The startup has received thousands of followers on their social media networks after operating for a couple of months. Moreover, the company gets funding from investors based in Sydney, Australia. Presently, they have placed strategic team of five people in Sydney and they normally hire operators in every market they operate.
