As the explosive development of fintech continues, as well as the emergence of decentralized finance (DeFi), which is growing in popularity across Africa, on September 27 and 28, 2022, the West Africa edition of the Africa Money and DeFi Summit will take place in Accra, Ghana.

This is where the top fintech, investors, crypto platforms, ventures, and digital finance players will meet.

After the sold-out Money and DeFi Summit in Nairobi earlier this year, the event put on by the Africa Tech Summit will again bring together and show off leaders in their fields. This includes Workday, Paystack, Polygon, VerifyMe, Flutterwave, BitPowr Celo, Flutterwave, YouVerify, Visa, and many others.

Two days of seminars and networking events will exchange insights on crypto, payments, neo banking, DeFi, investing, BNPL, and mobile money while linking corporates, investors, start-ups, regulators, media, and industry stakeholders.

According to Andrew Fassnidge, the founder of the Africa Tech Summit, “We are happy to be presenting the West African edition of the Africa Money & DeFi Summit. This event will showcase fintech experts, crypto pioneers, fresh growing enterprises, and investment prospects across the area.”

It is an exciting time in the digital finance industry for driving business and investment forward, thanks to the ongoing support from our remarkable partners across Africa. The expansion of cryptocurrencies across Africa is still strong, and a new wave of decentralized finance is coming.

At the summit, there will be approximately 400 participants, 150 companies, and 75 speakers who will discuss various issues through panel discussions, keynote addresses, and fireside chats. In addition, there will be several events for networking, sessions for masterclasses, and an exhibition of outstanding initiatives that will sell out.

The Africa Money and DeFi Summit West Africa is an annual event that brings together industry leaders from the African fintech and cryptocurrency industries with participants from other parts of the world.

Participants will have the opportunity to network and conduct business with leading companies in the following areas: Web3 digital finance cryptocurrencies, payments, digital lending, foreign exchange (FX), digital identity, cybersecurity, mobile money insurance, and investors, regulators, start-ups, as well as industry stakeholders.

Daniel Kimotho from the Cele Foundation, Shopido Ayomide from Polygon Technology, Adedayo Abedajo from Jelurida Africa, and Elisha Akyaw from Cointelegraph are some individuals that will be speaking.
