The Africa Fintech Foundry offers challenge, guidance, and progressively show leadership in innovation, entrepreneurship, and financial technology. If you happen to be a startup with tech-enabled solutions in medtech, agritech, healthtech, or fintech, you can apply for the 2021 Accelerator programme.
Benefits to participation
Winners will walk away with 1 million Naira and access to partnerships with Accessbank and Lagos state and $25,000 worth of services per startup. . You also get connected to expert facilitators and investors who will mentor your business to the next level. Get engaged with 12 weeks of formal and informal training and an opportunity to demo at AFF’s next conference. Among the prizes are discounted cloud services/ hardware and software subscriptions. You also get to work with Accessbank’s customers and subsidiary companies.
Requirements for participation
You must have a tech-based solution, with a clear monetization strategy that solves a problem for specific customers. Your team must have a deep understanding of the market at hand and you must own a defensible position, i.e intellectual property. The company must be highly scalable and capable of expanding into global markets.
Africa Fintech Foundry is a hub of innovation for tech investors and startups. It offers linkages for tech startups looking for funding and mentorships. The idea is to create a networking community for developers.
