FinChatBot Brings $1.6m Investment As It Expansion Into Europe and West Africa

TechInAfrica – By having a massive investment, the creators of conversational AI solutions for the financial services sector, FinChatBot, will expand its services into Europe and West Africa. 

It was announced this morning that FinChatBot received investment from Saviu Ventures, Compass Venture Capital, and Kalon Venture Partners as much as $1.6 million. 

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at FinChatBot, Antoine Paillusseau said in a statement that the company appreciates the assistance of its investors who trust FinChatBot’s vision to become the leader in using conversational AI solutions for the need of selling and servicing financial products. 

Established in 2016, FinChatBot has grown to work with 20 top-tier financial service providers including banks and insurers such as MTN Financial Services, Sanlam, Santam, and Bidvest Insurance, and others.

FinChatBot will be able to increase its team to more than 50 people by having the investment injection. It will be very important since the company plans to have another office in France, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. 

Chief Executive Officer at Kalon Venture Partners, Clive Butkow said that two years ago, they saw FinChatBot as the pioneer in the financial industry. FinChatBot’s concentration on the financial services industry and its consistency to growth that is helping to disrupt a traditionally frustrating customer experience has made Kalon Venture Partners impressive and interested in being an investor.
