Leading payments and finance company Paga Group has entered into a partnership with LISNR the global proximity verification leader that enables contactless ultrasonic authentication as it expands its new merchant solution Doroki. Paga’s payment solution works in a similar fashion to Square and PayPal as they help consumers pay, get paid, and access financial services.

This collaboration between Paga and LISNR is LISNR’s first partnership with a fintech player. The relationship between the duo has evolved over the past couple of years are they remain innovative VISA partners including Endeavor portfolio companies. This synergy will eventually lead to a strategic partnership.

LISNR provides an ultrasonic proximity verification solution that enables Paga’s ecosystem for its consumers to pay merchants and send money among themselves with ease. Today’s launch follows months of tests within their markets where it has experienced improvements in transaction time, consumer experience, security, and merchant onboarding.

Tayo Ovisu, the founder/CEO at Paga Group expressed excitement about the partnership between Paga and LISNR. “We are leveraging their technology for both people to business and person to person payments.” Paga group will count on the new partnership to attain its goal of offering easy, contactless, and seamless payments to over 120,000 merchants.

Paga captured headlines recently with their partnership with Untapped Global as they work to scale their user base from 33,000 to 120,000 merchants.
