The fifth Africa Tech Summit will take place in Nairobi in February.

Next month, more than 1,000 tech leaders, investors, and other players will gather for the fifth Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi, Kenya. This leading conference brings businesses together and encourages investments in Africa’s tech ecosystem.

It will take place at the Sarit Expo Centre on February 15 and 16, 2023.

The director of this year’s summit, Andrew Fassnidge, said there would be 150 speakers on two stages, masterclasses, an exhibition, and many networking events to help businesses and investments move forward.

According to a recent report by Endeavor Nigeria, Africa’s tech ecosystem is expected to grow from an estimated $115 billion to $712 billion by 2050. The summit brings together investors, corporates, mobile operators, fintech, decentralized finance, crypto ventures, start-ups, developers, regulators, and policymakers to do business across the continent.

The 2023 event has three tracks: the Africa Money & DeFi Summit, the Africa Startup Summit, and the Africa Mobile & App Summit, which brings together tech players from all over the continent.

MasterCard predicts that the fintech market will reach $40 billion by 2025, and the fintech space continues to grow by 20% yearly. The Africa Money & DeFi Summit will continue to find new opportunities in fintech, Web3, and DeFi.

The Africa Startup Summit brings together tech start-ups, investors, and big companies. It will discuss the ecosystem’s opportunities and challenges and show the best ventures. At the Africa Mobile & App Summit, new technologies and solutions for Africa’s mobile ecosystem will be examined, and people will talk about the future of mobile growth and trends in Africa.

The fifth edition of Pitch Live is now accepting applications, and ten African start-ups will be chosen to talk about their business and solution on stage in front of investors and big companies. Applications can be sent in until January 16 and will be reviewed as they come in. Start now.
