Zimbabwe to launch its first-ever Drone Conference on November 10-11

The first -of-its-kind conference will focus on emerging technologies in unmanned aerial systems

History will be made in Zimbabwe on the 10th and 11th of November at the country’s first Drone Conference to be held at the Celebration Centre in Harare. This conference comes at a time when innovative solutions are being scouted for by Africa at large, to leverage in the economy. The Drones for Good Network, together with organizations such as Zimbabwe Flying Labs – Flying Labs and experts in the fields such as Precision Aerial Drone Service, collaborated to organize this huge event that will see the attendance of 15 renowned presenters. These national and international experts will share insights on drone regulations, safety, and legal issues as well as the current innovations in the field.

Business stakeholders, Africa-wide are encouraged to attend and benefit from the experts’ knowledge impartation that can in turn assist them in integrating drone technology for optimization and profitability of their business ventures, be it in security, mining, agriculture,  urban planning, and wildlife management. United Nations representatives and government officials are also expected to attend. Zimbabwe Flying labs’ Managing director, Tawanda Chihambakwe reiterates that opportunities created by drones are endless and indeed the fourth  industrial revolution is here.
