Brayfoil Technologies, a South Africa cleantech startup has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Katapult Ocean. The company is a leader in compliant structures and morphing aerofoil research and design while providing unique capabilities that implement breakthrough technologies for efficiency gains and cost reductions.

This innovative tech startup was chosen to participate in the Katapult Ocean Accelerator programme taking place at the startup of the year. Brayfoil Technologies CEO Matthew Bray commented on the funding secured to participate in the prestigious accelerator expressing pride in them being part of the Katapult family.

Brayfoil technologies were founded in 2017 as a cleantech startup with a compliant structure and morphed aerofoil research and design. This tech startup is creating and implementing cutting-edge technologies in the design, testing, and manufacture of products in the renewable energy sectors.

The cleantech works with companies in the utilization of renewable energy systems such as wind turbines. Brayfoil technologies will help companies reduce their costs by utilizing biomimicry-inspired compliant structures.
