Do you reside in Zambia and have a FinTech business idea that addresses the challenges facing financial inclusion? The Bongo Hive Challenge is the right place to get noticed.

Bongo Hive and FSD Zambia are launching The BongoHive FinTech Challenge, aimed at early FinTech startups and entrepreneurs addressing financial inclusion. Bongo Hive works to solve challenges related to investment, financial literacy, interoperability, credit savings, and individuals in need of assisted living.

The challenge can be achieved in a 2-day ideation session involving 30 participants. 20 of the thirty participants will advance to a virtual sprint challenge, where two finalists will be selected. The winners will receive technical support for their ideas – a process that could stretch for eight weeks. The two programme sponsors will also offer advice and mentorship. The application window will close on  June 22 and end in October.
