TechInAfrica — Regional finalists for the 2019 Southern Africa Startup Awards (SASAwards) have been selected.

Aiming to highlight tech startups from around the globe, the awards form part of the annual Global Startup Awards

In a statement last Friday, the SASAwards’ committee stated a total of 346 competitors across 19 categories and 12 countries were shortlisted from 2,444 nominations.

The shortlist was decided by a series of national judging panels. Members of the public can now vote on the SASAwards website for the startups they want to see emerge to the Global Startup Awards. Meanwhile, the voting will close on 10 November.
