Tunisian startup Clusterlab raises $600,000 in pre-seed funding round.

ClusterLab, a Tunisian-born AI startup now based in the UAE, has secured $600,000 in pre-seed funding to advance its research and development initiatives. This funding will further strengthen its efforts in enhancing the Arabic audiobook summarization app, Reedz.

Originating in Tunisia and based in the United Arab Emirates, the startup has secured a substantial US$600,000 in pre-seed funding from prominent investors including Karim Beguir, early InstaDeep supporters, and local angel investors. The infusion of additional capital will further enhance Clusterlab’s research and development initiatives.

Established in 2020 by Haithem Kchaou and Chehir Dhaouadi in Tunisia, ClusterLab specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) technology. The company is also the innovator behind Reedz, a sophisticated AI-powered tool designed to effortlessly translate over 80 languages.

Haithem Kchaou, co-founder and CEO of ClusterLab, emphasized, “Our expertise in technology surpasses the current surge of large language models. We were pioneers in NLP, transforming content summarization long before it gained widespread popularity.”
