Angola e-commerce startup Roque Online offering solutions during COVID-19

Luanda-based startup Roque online is helping people adapt to the new normal after the Covid-19 pandemic resulting in a new normal. The platform is linking small vendors to fruit and vegetables. The service has been in use over the years, witnessing solid growth in the past years.

In 2019, the e-commerce startup focuses on connecting the informal markets to consumers but 2020 witnessed the unlocking of new market segments. In an article on Euronews, CEO Geraldine Geraldo attributed the pandemic to the rapid rise in their accelerated growth.  Juan Carlos Moreno is also one of the founders.

It’s worth pointing out that Roque Online won the 2019 Seedstars competition in Luanda, an accomplishment that gave it international exposure. It has also been fortunate to feature on The Economist.

How Roque online works

As a vendor, small business, or large distributor you can register your inventory on the platform and start monetizing it. The app is user friendly and available for download on both Google Play and the Apple Store.
