BCX and Tsimologong Partners to Host Digital Innovation Program

BCX Innovation Program is run by Innovation Print, Tshimologong Digital and Wits University. The program came to light on Friday 19th January 2018. The program is open to the technology startups. Both BXC and Telkom Innovation Program partnered to make the program a success. The main aim of the program is to offer a good opportunity to the local startups to grow and develop.

The program targets digital startups that are in the Prototype Stage. The main benefit is an opportunity to become a supplier or partner to BCX or Telkom. This is a good opportunity to those with the digital business that requires a slight financial boost. BCX National Innovation Program gives an opportunity to startups to grow. After which they scale to reach the superior global level.

There is a need to have solutions like blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT) to startups. Artificial Intelligence, nanotech, and gamification should be inclusive too. The factors will help sectors like safety and security, health and education. Sectors like agriculture and smart cities call for greatest concentrations. The ICT sector has not been given the much-needed attention in Africa. That’s what the program is trying to create. The program aims at developing a unique opportunity for digital businesses. This will guarantee continuous innovations leading to constant growth.

The program has other benefits that include refining and developing business.  Market readiness through expert mentorship is also important to the startups. There is a need to develop one’s network, access to Tshimologong network. One needs co-working space at the precinct and access to getting opportunities. All this are offered by the program.

Applications are ongoing until 23rd January 2018. Those interested can apply through www.startup.joburg. This will give them a chance to become digital success makers. The program will be running every Thursdays. That’s starting from 8th February to 15th March 2018. The program will be run during evenings.
