TechInAfrica – The Egyptian trucking marketplace based in Cairo, Trella, has announced that it’s now part of Y Combinator’s S19 batch. Besides Trella, there are some other companies that join YC’s illustrious portfolio, including Airbnb, Doordash, Dropbox, Reddit, and Stripe.

The participation of Trella in the network is part of its commitment to digitizing trucking and provide the best end-to-end solutions to the shippers and the carriers within the industry. By joining the network, Trella and other companies are given the opportunity to synergize and collaborate with YC companies and alumni, as well as access to YC’s network of investors, mentors, and partners.

Trella is a B2B technology platform was founded last year. It connects shippers and careers in real-time, optimizes drivers’ route and increases the volume of backloads. Through the platform, shippers and carriers can communicate, improving efficiency and utilization, as well as enabling shipment tracking in real-time.

With its transparency, consistency, and reliability, Trella’s platform has gained interests from regional and global investors, and businesses.
