Laico hotel in Tunis to host Riyeda Entrepreneurship Event

The 2018 Riyeda entrepreneurship event will take place between February 21st and 22nd at Laico hotel in Tunis. The organizers expect 8,000 delegates from different walks of life to join the event. The representatives will have the opportunity to network and share their entrepreneurial experiences with Tunisia’s entrepreneurs. Besides, they will discuss the current entrepreneurial trends and encourage other entrepreneurs in Tunisia.

The Riyeda lab will be set aside for one-hour workshops led by subject experts, professional coaches, and corporate representatives. Some of these workshop sessions will be free while others will be payable. The event will allow startup competitions and the winner will take home $627. Three students from Riyeda University will stand on stage and answer the live Q&A session before a panel of judges who will announce the winner.

Moreover, various startups will have a chance to showcase their products. The strategy will help in attracting potential investors and entrepreneurs to fund the projects. The stage will also allow for product pitches and demos at the expo-fair section.

The event will also bring on board people the best practices in leadership and entrepreneurship. Moreover, people with stand-out experiences share and motivate leadership culture among the delegates. Currently, 50 speakers have confirmed attendance, and they will deliver encouraging speeches for the people.

Riyeda will also host Startup Tunisia Awards which will attract a price of $830 for the winner. The interested applicants for Startup Tunisia Awards can still submit their projects for consideration.
