Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) is moving digital. The management of NCWSC wishes to alert its esteemed customers that they will no longer accept cash payments. Therefore, their banking halls will remain closed as they adopt digital systems. For efficiency, the company has chosen mobile banking platform or commercial banks. The customers can also make payments via its website. For a long time, the company has not been in a position to give a proper account of their services. This is because they use outdated means to receive payments.

NCWSC decided to close Westlands mall, Parklands, Eastleigh, Kampala Road and Karen branches due to the previous notice issued. Besides, the Cameo (CBD) office is scheduled for closure on June 30, 2018. The Kasarani office will also stop its operation by March 31, 2018. Therefore, this water company has retrenched many employees leaving many jobless. This is due to the adoption of new technology and online of the company. Moreover, clients can now pay bills through NIC bank, Sidan bank, Barclays bank, Cooperative bank, Equity Bank and Diamond Trust Bank.
