TechInAfrica – HMD Global has announced that now Kenyan costumers can make preorder for its two new smartphones, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2. The new Nokia’s mid-range smartphones were launched at IFA 2019, Berlin, Germany about two weeks ago. The launching of the new devices was expected to follow the success of Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 launched last year.

Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 offer some upgrades in their processors, including a premium-glass designed language, triple rear cameras, and faster Snapdragon processors. The new upgraded devices can be pre-ordered by Kenyan customers from selected retail partners, as stated by Gopher Ogembo, HMD Global’s Senior Business Manager.

“We are happy to provide our fans with two phones powered by AI and allowing customers to have an enjoyable advanced smartphone experience,” Ogembo said.

For Kenyan customers who successfully make the preorder will have wireless earbuds for the Nokia 7.2 or a Nokia backpack for the Nokia 6.2, respectively, as long as stocks last.

“The Nokia 7.2 offers fans advanced tools to express their creativity. Everything from the ZEISS Optics, exclusive ZEISS bokeh modes and powerful AI imaging, to its breath-taking PureDisplay technology, makes the Nokia 7.2 a device that truly stands out,” Ogembo said.

He added, “The Nokia 6.2 comes with two exciting firsts: a breath-taking and immersive PureDisplay screen and a powerful AI-powered triple camera. With Nokia 6.2 we’re making sure you get a premium device, that doesn’t compromise on looks or performance.”

Nokia 6.2 will be available in Ceramic Black that costs $230 while Nokia 7.2 will be available either in Cyan Green or Charcoal that costs $325. The devices will be launched by the end of September.

“I encourage everyone to go out and order the new Nokia Smartphones we have on offer today. With Nokia Smartphones it just keeps getting better,” said Ogembo.
