TechInAfrica – Frogfoot has been chosen by Telkom to be the third party fibre network operator as of 2 November 2020. The expansion of Fibre-To-The Home (FTTH) provider has reached more than 220.000 homes in South Africa.

Gugu Mthembu, Executive: Brand and Product Segments at Telkom said that Telkom is very excited and proud to be working together with the trusted fibre provider that has more than 15 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry.

He added that the collaboration will increase Telkom’s coverage in the area where OpenServe fibre does not exist. This means that the offering from Telkom will be available for customers who have not been reached previously. Nevertheless, the existing customers still receive the best service from Telkom over the copper infrastructure within the Frogfoot footprint.
