TechInAfrica – The Vivo Y12s, a new budget smartphone, has been officially introduced by Vivo to the Kenyan market.

The Vivo Y12s covers a slew of new features, including a 5000mAh battery supporting 10W fast charging and 5W reverse charging, a 6.51-Inch Large Display, and a Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanner.

Vivo Y12 presents a vertical AI Dual camera module offering a 13MP essential sensor with an f/1.8 opening and a 2MP Bokeh focal point with an f/2.4 gap. This new smartphone features an 8MP shooter at the front to make users easy in taking selfies and recording video.

The Y12s’ screen configuration embraces a water drop Halo FullView Display conveying an HD+ goal of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 angle proportion to offer a more vivid experience.

It also includes a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset under the hood coupled with 3GB of RAM and internal storage of 32GB that is expandable to 256GB using a microSD. The device runs Vivo’s own FunTouch OS 11.

Vivo Brand Manager, James Irungu, states that Vivio Y12S comes to bring user experience while being very pocket friendly for the festive season. The unity that has gone into making this smartphone is a high design, yet the company has seen it insightful to bring Vivo Y12s to the table at an affordable price for the Kenyan market.

Vivo’s target market is youth. Therefore, this company is continuously upgrading its items to present modern smartphones. The products also come up with trendsetting technologies, offering industry-leading Performance, Design, and Experience at the most competitive price points locally.

A week from 3 December, Vivo Y12s will be exclusively available on Jumia for 12,999Ksh, where it will later be available offline from 7th December, 2020 for 13,599Ksh.
