Zipline the successful on-demand medical drone delivery startup to headline HISA2020

Healthcare innovation summit Africa will be held on 2-3 December 2020


Zipline, the San Francisco based drone-delivery company uses aviation technology to distribute medical suppliers to all healthcare workers in Africa and globally. The United States-based company is currently valued at $1.2 billion earning the title of one of the most innovative companies in 2020 by Fast Company.

According to IT News Africa, Zipline aims to provide all human beings with access to life-saving medical supplies. This will be accompanied by top healthcare expertise and cutting edge technology. The success of their Rwanda operation offers s practical case example of what the company is capable of doing.

Daniel Marfo, the GM of Zipline in Africa is expected to unpack their customer-centered and tech-heavy approach at this year’s  Healthcare Innovation Summit Africa to be held on December 2nd and 3rd.
