It involves tech applications aiming to support and simplify banking and financial services. It is designed to automate, modified, manage, and organize commercial businesses globally.

In Nigeria, there are various sectors contributing in the Fintech scene in Nigeria, Including Payment Solution Service Providers or better known as Automated Machine (ATM), Mobile Banking, Point of Sale (P.O.S)/Merchant Services, Consumer or Business Lending, Cryptocurrency, Digital Investment, amongst others.
