Bountly is a South African based startup that majors in recruitment service provision. The startup has launched its beta version. The version targets students, unemployed people, travelers and individuals hoping to have a different source of income apart from their main job. The startup is planning to expand to Johannesburg and Durban before the end of 2018. It also plans to start operating in Nigeria and Spain in the coming future. Bountly is currently based in Western Cape.

The platform wants to make a huge change in the South African unemployment scene. It majorly wants to create an alternative source of income. This will help people to get an earning instead of waiting for employment. A good number of graduates lack something to offer them alternative earning as they wait to practice their profession fully. This has led to many of them to get into criminal activities thus derailing their life.

People are in a position to post tasks for online or in-person jobs in and around Cape Town. One can also make an offer on existing work in case they are sure that they are qualified for the position. The startup aims at making use of the untapped source of income in the country. There are many sources of income that can be made useful to people in South Africa.

There is a need to give people equal opportunity and a marketplace. This will help people to develop authority in their preferred profession. The startup is coming in to create trust in the workplace while offering its users an upper hand. Users can rate each other. This is done in the same way like AirBnb and Uber through the peer-to-peer review system. Users can keep a record of all their transactions with other users via their profile. It gives important points of recommendation and ability to develop strong credibility.
