GLSD: a Sudanese ICT Company Specializing in Providing ICT Services

TechInAfrica – GLSD is a Golden Land’s branch company located in Khartoum, Sudan. It provides ICT services such as data center solutions as well as ELV TK projects. The parent company, Golden Land, is located in Doha, Qatar and has become one of the most fast-growing companies in the country.

Golden Land started its first operations in 1976 as an Engineering Service company have expanded to the MENA regions ever since. Besides Sudan, the company is planning to expand its operations to other African countries, including in the East and West Africa.

In Sudan, the company creates value through its solutions, connecting Africans with their best and relevant technologies in order to become the world’s leader in the ICT sector. With its motto: Fast, Focused, and Targeted, the company sets its ambition to become market leaders and great engineers.

Golden Land aims at providing solutions to challenges facing Africa, including poverty, poor infrastructure, war, and genocide. It gives opportunities for African engineers to promote and prove themselves that they can be self-sufficient so that they can improve their livelihood and increase their incomes. Their mission is to change the business mentality by sharing benefits to people who contribute to the company and help them to grow. By doing this, the company not only want to generate profits but also bring positive impacts to the communities.

Furthermore, with their solutions and technologies, the company wants to change the image of Africa and boost confidence in the African youth generations. Therefore, all their staff and engineers are equipped with training for their job tasks.

In order to boost growth and sales, the company expects to have new projects as well as investors in Africa. Currently, Golden Land is working to provide 5G telecom services solutions, including Huawei and Ericsson technologies. The company will provide engineering staff from the Gulf region to help their African staff increase their work efficiency.
