ITIDA to support Atos in ramping up operations in Egypt

 Atos and Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency just signed a memorandum of understanding at the Mobile World Congress 2021, held in Barcelona. This agreement will see Atos and ITIDA work towards accelerating Egypt’s digital sector while creating employment opportunities in the local market. 

Atos is looking to expand her offshore operations focussed on exporting services such as ERP software implementation, software development, technical support, and infrastructure database management. Atos focuses on smart city services, Artificial intelligence, big data analytics, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.

ITIDA will assume the role of a focal point for foreign investors while strategically advising multinational companies invested in the local digital sector.

Amr Mahfouz CEO ITIDA said, “We are committed to support Atos plans to ramp up its operations in Egypt as part of our mandate.”

Nourdine Bihmane, the head of Growing Markets of Atos was happy to “lay a first stone and launch this ambitious partnership.”
