NubiaNetwork Launches Its Apps for Africa Competition

TechInAfrica – A South African digital business development agency, NubiaNetwork, has launched its Apps for Africa competition that later will provide the winner a package of app development.

Apps for Africa is an online competition for local African entrepreneurs to win the development of a web-based app for their business. According to Candice Simone, NubiaNetwork’s Digital Business Developer, applicants can register for the competition by downloading the app and submit their profile. The deadline is until 25 May 2019 and 10 finalists will be announced on June 25th based on votes they get on their profiles.

Those who have uploaded their profiles on the NubiaNetwork mobile app can ask their friends and family to vote for them via the NubiaNetwork. All African entrepreneurs can participate in the competition and start to upload their profiles on April 25, 2019.

The winner of the competition will receive a prize of a full development of a web-based mobile app which will be set out on July 1st and expected to last for three to six months. The company will assist the winner during the process of digital business development.

Additionally, the agency will also assist all of the 10 finalists of the competition, help them with fundraising through a crowdfunding round in order to develop their apps.
