Tshimologong Precinct is Calling for Growth-Stage Startups to Join Its TechAccel Program

TechInAfrica – The Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct in partnership with SA tech giant is calling for applications from growth-stage startups to join its TechAccel program. It is a high-impact accelerator program that aims at supporting tech companies to grow their businesses through a five-week bootcamp that will take place on February 3rd to March 6th, 2020.

In addition to helping tech startups to develop and grow their businesses, the program will also focus on improving their skills and business efficiency. By doing this, they will be able to focus on key aspects of growing their ventures.

Interested startups are encouraged to submit their details online at http://tshimologong.co.za/techaccel-programme/. The entry is already opened and will close on November 15th, 2019.

The program will end with an investment and pitching contest. The winning teams will receive an investment of up to R500,000 in required products and services. In order to win the prize, startup participants will have to demonstrate their explanations on how they will use the investment to grow their businesses.

The TechAccel program is open to any tech companies with the main focus on the development and manufacturing technology or providing technology as a service. In addition, participants must have a minimum of one-year trading as a CIPC-registered business, the growth-stage startup must be black South African-owned and managed, the turnover must be between R120K – R50 million per annum, and the business owner must play an active role in running the business.
