TechInAfrica – Nokia Corporation, or more commonly known as Nokia, is a Finnish multinational telecommunication, information technology, and consumer electronics company that took the world by storm when their products flooded the mobile phone markets in the 2000s. The company would then be known as a successful and innovative maker of camera phones, as well as one of the pioneers of mobile gaming due to its infamous Snake game.

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones in this digital era, announced on Tuesday, 17 September 2019, that consumers living in Kenya can now pre-order the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 devices from selected retail partners. Gopher Ogembo, Senior Business Manager for HMD Global, spoke on behalf of the company. “We are happy to provide our fans with two phones powered by AI and allowing customers to have an enjoyable advanced smartphone experience.”

Long-time Nokia fans and new Nokia greenhorns are welcome to pre-order both devices, while having the availability to receive complimentary award-winning wireless earbuds for the Nokia 7.2 or a Nokia backpack for the Nokia 6.2 respectively. Of course, these complimentary items are limited and will be available when stocks last.

Ogembo, in addition, professed that Nokia 7.2 promotes users to express their creativity in ways imaginable. The gadget offers ZEISS optics, exclusive ZEISS bokeh modes as well as powerful AI imaging, topping it all off with its signature PureDisplay technology. “the Nokia 7.2 is a device that truly stands out,” Ogembo added.

On the other side, Nokia 6.2 boasts the same PureDisplay technology, paired with a powerful AI-powered triple camera, making it a device that spares no compromise in design, productivity, and overall performance.

Both devices are to launch at the end of September, so potential customers—such as you and me—could still pre-order them with a price tag of $325 for Nokia 7.2, and $230 for Nokia 6.2.
